There's Snow In Hell Today
I've decided to create a meme.
No, I'm not drunk.
It a SEASONAL meme, OK? I was feeling Christmasy. So here's the deal. I'm not going to make you partake in this. But if you do, I promise to tell Santa that you've been very good this year (even though I know the truth). That's right, the big guy and I are close friends. I helped him cover up that drunk driving scandal a few years ago involving Blitzen and that old lady from down the lane, Grandma something-or-other. Well, you're just going to have to believe me.
Here we go.
Answer these questions here or on your own blog with a link to it in the comment section.
1. What was the best present you've ever received?
2. What was the worst?
3. What is something you really want this year for yourself?
4. What is something you really want this year for someone else?
5. What's your favorite Christmas memory?
For those who don't celebrate Christmas but would still like to participate, feel free to substitute the holiday with another or a birthday. I'll post my answers on Monday.
Have a great and safe weekend Homebloys!

Fun idea Tink. I was going to do the whole thing and realized I only had one good answer.
2. What was the worst? My Grandmother used to have me and my brother hang one of our socks at her house before Christmas Eve. Somehow Santa would get to her place early and on Christmas eve we would get to see what he brought us. Our dirty little socks were always filled with coal, chicken bones, water, and whatever other trash was around. My Grandmother must have worked on collecting that stuff weeks ahead of time. It was hilarious but a pretty crappy gift.
Knight: Question 2 is my favorite anyway. Water? Chicken bones?! What did you do to piss her off? Lol.
OH MY GOD - THE SKY IS FALLING!
Tink and meme? Are you serious?
Wow.
Ok, of course I will play.
We're off to see the wizard......

I've got great answers to this question. You'll be not one bit surprised that they all have something to do with beer.

2. When pregnant with boy#1, dh gave me a maternity sweatshirt for Christmas. (granted, we were kinda poor at the time, but still!!)
3. A little camera to live in my purse so I always have one with me. (And like Gary, I usually shop for my own gifts and give them to My Honey to wrap...)
4. My 16yo has been asking for a bow & arrow set. We're trying to make this happen.
5. The Christmas my folks declared that all gifts everything must be homemade. We were kids, so that wasn't too hard for us (my sister sewed us stuffed Disney characters) but much harder for my workaholic parents (dad did iron-on t-shirt designs, different for each of us kids; mom sewed a wedding dress for my barbie doll and a nightgown for my beloved dolly (see #1)

I needed a post on my blog for today, so I used your Meme! Thanks, I think. LOL
I looked at me big feet this morning as I was about to take the dog outside and I thought to myself, "These big ass black snow boots have been the best gift ever!" Then I lost myself in another freaken blizzard.
Ask me in summer and I'll have a much different answer.
I did it; come on over!
