Weekly Words Challenge 33!

The words for this week were One and Water.

How did you interpret them?

One

One - penny, friend, gigantic lemon, in a check, made with magnets, first born using one finger, on a house, on a briefcase lock, on a package, on a billboard.

A few close up...

Water and Gin

My new favorite drink.

The words for next week are:
Three
and
Fire

For the next two weeks we're going to be working with a mixed theme of numbers and elements. If you haven't joined the fun yet, go
here for details. Don't forget we now have a Flickr group too. Everyone is welcome to join. Happy snapping!

I love your collages. How artsy of you!
I posted mine last night, because I wanted to post for my daughter's b-day today. Little did I realize, on her post I put up pictures from her 1st birthday, so I guess that works as well. :-)

My grandfather used to get huge lemons on his tree (Boca Raton) but the grapefruit were the best! So, soo sweet. Yum.
So I have to say the lemon/friend shot is my fave.
Nice bubbles in your water & gin, and while I thank you for the offer, I'll stick to coffee right now, thanks!

I want you to put ears and whiskers on that lemon and reshoot it as a sour puss.

Mine are up. Combos again. Heh-heh.

Speaking of combos, did I mention how cool your collage concept is?

Great - Florida's being overrun with mutant lemons. O noes!

That's a huge freaking lemon!

I love the combo lock too.

Mmm I want to reach right in and grab that gin & tonic. Especially since it says Beer.
Still laughing at the gifts ripping open children. You find the best stuff.

I like the way your friend is holding the giant lemon, so gingerly, like it might spontaneously explode at any second into a shower of confetti.

At 29 April, 2008, Blogger Reb said...

That is a great shot of your friend and the lemon! I like your hair red too!

Mine are up and on Flickr.

Love the finger pic - reminds me of Dave, who is always sneaking the middle finger in when I snap a photo of him.

Aaaaaagh! The Finger! My eyes, my virgin eyes!

PS On another note entirely, the WTF etsys today seem to have a theme running through them - assuming the theme is "scaring children" (in addition to "unwrapping" them, of course)! Zaria is a 3-D childhood nightmare - perfect for hanging in the little ones' nursery - if the little ones are Wednesday and Pugsly Addams... And, the person modeling that "necklace" looks like the bride of Pennywise! Once again, I marvel at the way you FIND this stuff, Tink!

Weird - for some reason my first comment didn't show up - so here goes again...
I love the cool collage, Tink! Especially the combination lock and the penny. Didn't think of "ONE" red cent - hey! You thought of Lincoln, and I thought of Washington. How historic of us...And all those bubbles in that glass - beautiful.
My pictures are up, too. Can't wait to see everyone else's!

gin & tonic is one of my favorites, but I've never had gin & water.

People are weird. Then they create weird stuff that they try to sell as "art". I don't get it either. I love that you find this stuff for us.

I love the lock also. Good choice this week Tink.

Hmm...

I really love the collage :)

That's a great portrait photo of you :) And one big-ass lemon!

The metal necklace...deconstructed architecture? She means Hardware Store Bin. The presents open children, so twisted.

Awesome. Now I just need to remember to take up the challenge myself.

Great collection, Tink! I think I could have used that self-portrait on my post. That's just about the way I feel right now.

My pictures are up. I'll try to be a little more light hearted for next week.
