I Heart Etsy Returns

But first-

The naked lady statue in yesterday's post was taken in front of the Library of Congress. Believe it or not, they're not prudes there! Although they did snub us when we tried to push our way into the actual library. Apparently, you have to be a resident of DC... and have a list of research topics... and not announce that you're trying to sneak into the library.

Oh, and I have no idea what kind of cow-like-thing that is. Really, guys? You thought me, the chick from FLORIDA, would have knowledge of livestock? How about we call it the Would-probably-taste-good-on-my-plate variety.

Daily Etsy Picks:
"Sassy Sea Urchin No.2" Print
Ceramic Nest Egg
Custom Recycled Wood Sign (My word would be "spork".)
Dark Purple Jalapeno Pepper (Seeds) Cool!

WTF Etsy?:
Headless Deer Plushie
Wise Fools Inspirational Inspiracy Text Messaging Service (What?)
Antique German Doll Arm (Where the hell is the rest of it?)
Primitive Muslin Bunny (She meant to say it was evil.)

Would you believe we haven't yet been to the Library of Congress? (Oh, yeah...I suppose you would, since I had to ask where the statue was)
Was your unknown variety of cattle found at Mount Vernon? If so, it was definitely "the Would-probably-taste-good-on-my-plate variety."

John Ashcroft had the nekkid statue of Lady Justice covered while he was in office. The prude's just not there any more. ;-)

That "cow-like-thing" looks a lot like a Scottish Highland, but the horns are wrong. Likely tasty, yes.

OMG I think you really did well this time on the WTF Etsy portion. I love the Nest Egg, pretty and a great idea.

I am pretty sure the bovine is of the "taste-good-on-my-plate" variety, but it might be a cross between a Highland and something local.

At the very least, hit them really, really hard.

Alright, I can see the hierarchy of the LOC requiring those looking to enter to have a valid research pursuit. ( In a way, I wish our local places would have some similar restraints, they've become pseudo daycares complete with chatting moms and screeching kids where the days of silence and the ability to study are gone.)However, Only D.C residents? That doesn't sound right.

You don't know what kind of cow like thing that is? What the hell??? Are you from Florida or something? :P

I was just talking sex, no good way to tell a breed from a picture. Unless of course one raised that particular breed. Then, well...

But at least it's got a head and not some Barbie neck port.

Your cow-like thing is not a Scottish Highland cow - it's hair isn't long enough. It probably would taste pretty darned good. Too bad the picture wasn't taken from a different angle - I could tell you if it was a boy cow-like thing or a girl cow-like thing.
Definitely has a rack on it though. Horns, that is. I can tell you all kinds of things it ISN'T....it's not a hereford, or a black angus, or polled. (teehee - that's a test of your knowledge - what does polled mean?)
