The End?
So I've done it. I've written the last chapter of Twisted (Tink), and it only took me two and a half years to do! I would like to thank everyone who has followed along on it's journey, especially Newt. Without her constant encouragement I would have never had the guts to finish it. She created the first physical copy of the book, in part, making the story "real". I know I should feel sad that it's over. But I'm not. I'm excited. This accomplishment makes me feel that any of the stories brewing in my head can make it to paper. All I need is the determination, and if I'm lucky, the support of a great friend.
As always, criticism, critiques, and compliments are welcome.
Tomato throwing is not.
Have a great weekend Homebloys!

Congratulations Tink dear! I think this is just the sort of excuse I need on a Friday night to open that bottle of champagne that has been anguishing in the fridge for weeks. So thank you for finishing Twisted Tink today and congratulations on a job well done. It is a terrific story!
angusishing = languishing
Congrats Tink! I have not kept up like I should so I'm going to go read the whole thing RIGHT NOW!
Congratulations, Tink! This is a most fantastic accomplishment! How proud you must be!
I was wondering if you wouldn't mind me printing out the work to read it? I wanted to ask permission 1st, but it's easier for me to read it in print than on the computer. And. . . .since you got me hooked on your "crack" (Stephanie Meyer series), I need to finish the 3rd book 1st.
This is just great news!
Hoop, go to the store and get some cold champaigne for your lady. Two bottles or more.
Peggy: Thank you! I think I'll drink to it too. Only, my bottle probably isn't as anquished. I've only had it for a week. ;)
Knight: Well I didn't intend for you to drop what you were doing.
Jen: Of course you can print it! :)
Hoop: Yeah, what Gary said!
I'm so proud, but yet continually disappointed at the same time. No tomato throwing? You certainly take all the fun out of things don't you... :ewink:
I'm heading over there right now, and who knows... perhaps I'll even pimp it out for you!
Tink! Hurray! That's extraordinary news -- congrats!
congrats, it must be hard to type all that with those weird elbows
Congratulations.
How about a tall glass of pee to celebrate?
Congratulations! Following a project through to completion can be so rewarding. A late joiner here, but are you trying to get it published now or thinking the self publishing route?
Yeah! I've read a few, but now, I'll have to go and read all of them.
It is such a good feeling when you have completed a project like that.
aww way to go Tink...I'm proud of you.
If it was the apocalypse and you were in the other bomb shelter...i would pick you to survive without a second thought
Crap, now I have the Doors stuck in my head: "This is the end, beautiful friend, the end..."
Woot! Woot! WOOT! oh man, WOO WOOT!
can you feel my excitement?
Congratulations and a very merry unbirthday to you!
OHHH-HOH! I see here I can print it. My little brain can only handle snippets on the screen but I'll try this in the palm of my hand soon. Thanks Tink!
WOOOOOOT!!! Way to go, Tink!
Definitely a champagne moment!
But...I have only read the first few chapters!!! When can we buy it in book form? Some of us (that would be me) have old eyes and can't read so much on the computer. But I'd buy a copy!!
Congrats my Twisted friend! :)
A new book and a husband in the near future! I want a copy too!
That is just incredibly awesome and amazing - what an accomplishment! Now you must rest your poor overtaxed thinky by taking Hoop out to the nearest pub, spend way too much time there, and then come back home to... celebrate.
3007!
A zillion congratulations - you ROCK, Tink!
This is a MAJOR accomplishment, and don't let anyone convince you otherwise. You FINISHED your story. It's a GREAT story!
You go, girl!
And don't feel bad it's over - because now, you can bring another story to life!
Aw, so proud of you. Came looking for it a few weeks back and didn't see it listed as a blog on your profile, sadly I thought you'd abandoned it.
Well done.
Congrats! I bookmarked it to go back and read when the TV is blaring and the kids are yelling.
GASP! I haven't read it....I began one time and then was pulled away from the computer.
Maybe me and Macxine can read it little by little as a bed time story. :-)
Or, I might print it out for an easier take with read!
WOW!!! I've always wanted to write a book. In Junior High I started writing a teen-age romance novel. Still have it in the attic. I didn't have much teen romance in Junior High though so -- I didn't get very far.
I know I don't have that kind of stick-to-it-tiveness. Glad you do.
So, are you going to get it published? ;)
Congratulations on finishing it!

I would take this opportunity to dulurk.
I have been reading your blog and enjoying it immensely. Was waiting for you to finish the story so that I could read it in one go.
I love love loved it.Still think that you can do a little more with the flow aaaaaaaand you obviously have a gift. Dont stop writing evah!! TC
Good for you! You should be proud.
And I hope you're avoiding all that wet/fast weather...it looks bad down there.
Makeing a fresh pot of coffee now so I can enjoy my two favorite things together. I'm sad........But so happy you finished it. Rubs hands together in glee. And just in time for the scrapping weekend at the cabin. Book two can now commence :-)
You guys are awesome. Most of you have never read the story; but you still congratulated me like it's the shit. Lol. Personally, I don't think the story is publishable. But I could always give it a shot for the hell of it. Like Chetan (thank you for delurking!) said, it needs some work on flow. The "sticky" area tends to be when Fae meets Wolf all the way until they reach Casino City. Wow, those of you who HAVEN'T read the story are probably thinking WTF right about now. If nothing else, I'll fine tune it for my own peace of mind. Regardless, it was fun. I suggest anyone who loves to write try and do it. As for the future, I think my stories will be a lot better because of it.
im quite sad now though, i loved popping in and getting it little by little, you shoudl definately write more. and get it published. Well Done!!
