Weekly Words Challenge 40!

The words for this week were Chaos and Mystery.

How did you interpret them?

Chaos

I was pulling up to the mall last Friday, when out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw a large dog. What it turned out to be instead was a large boar! I was the first one to notice him. So I pulled up slowly (thank God for my quiet car) and snapped a couple of pictures before the crowd formed. By the time I pulled away, there were at least ten people and five cars vying for a look at him. You would have thought a celebrity was in town. Fortunately, the boar didn't seem to notice or care. Boars are notoriously mean and won't hesitate to charge at someone.

Mystery

What the hell is wrong with this orange? Did it cannibalize it's twin?

(Random Pictures)

Bloom At Noon

Dragonfly

Dragonfly 2

Eternally Yours

Blesser Of Birds

Old Door

The words for next week are:
Front
and
Back

Originally, this was supposed to be the last week for the WWC
Flickr group word suggestions. But then I found two more that I really liked. So we won't be starting a new theme until July 1st. If you haven't joined the fun yet, go here for details.

Happy snapping!

Very cool dragonfly pics!
I will never look at an orange the same way again...
Mine are up, such as they are. Life is crazy today but not as crazy as it has been recently. (i.e., we didn't lose power last night)

I'm creeped out by the eternally yours stone. WTF were they smoking when they made THAT one? Was it revenge? Love? Something else?

Mine are up, along with a long rant. *sigh*

To boar or not to boar, that is the question. You've got me tinking you're playing games again. Coincidentally, that IS how we say think around here thanks to my daughter when she was 4.

Mmmmmmmm .... bacon.

Ever had wild boar? It's pretty good!

That orang is very disturbing.

I tried to get a pic of a dragonfly yesterday, but he attacked me instead.

Great pics as usual Tink!

Great shots, I could not find anything within the house to cover the words so did not get anything for this week, now next week I may just be able to cover, even if I have to go into my files for something.

The Obamam soap, like I want that looking at my nether regions.

I am putting my pics up tomorrow, but I have been thinking about them since last week. I might have picked you your obsessive traits, is that a communicable disease?

Too funny! We see havalena around here quite frequently...Cool pic though, on the way to/at the mall?!

Nice dragon fly pics too. I caputured some once in the top of our old tree [mating]. Hee, hee! They are in my album of critters and strange things.

Front and Back. Okay. I will finally jump back on the band wagon and play!!!

Happy Tuesday!

How in the world did that wild boar get loose?

At 17 June, 2008, Blogger Chatty said...

A wild boar snuffling around near a bunch of people and cars could have been chaos INDEED! And your orange is really weird. It reminds me of the double crook-neck squash I found recently. When I cut it, it looked like a woman's derriere, so I put it in little panties and gave it corn-silk hair and took pictures. I need a life *sigh*
I LOVE your dragonfly pictures!
My pics are up, too.

I have never seen a boar in person. I honestly thought they only existed in movies.

At 18 June, 2008, Blogger fiwa said...

Your pictures are gorgeous - so vivid. I especially like the bloom at noon.

That orange is weird! It looks like the imprint of a flower or something.

At 18 June, 2008, Blogger LiteralDan said...

Are you sure that's a boar and not a chupacabra?

And cannibalizing its twin is definitely the best interpretation of the look of that orange. I can't imagine eating it.

You take the coolest shots, Tink. Love the dragonfly, amazing that you caught him so close...and the door is hot, I'm obsessed with doors.

Wild boars are scary...I was chased by a little one in Arizona.

That first dragonfly pic is beautiful. Amazing critters, they are.

I used to raise hogs. Once saw a boar that stood taller than I did at the time, and was probably approaching 1000 pounds.

At 19 June, 2008, Blogger Me said...

You know damn well you would still eat that freakish orange.

At 19 June, 2008, Blogger captain corky said...

If that boar charged at me it would be the last thing that boar ever did. I would kill it with my bare hands. Yeah, I'm that tough!

At 19 June, 2008, Blogger Gin said...

I just had to come see how you handled the word "chaos"! You did a wonderful job Tink!! But I have to ask...Where the hell do you live that you have wild boars in your town??? Geez, the meanest thing we have in my part of Illinois is a rabid chipmunk or two!

At 19 June, 2008, Blogger Gin said...

OOOoops! I also meant to comment on your mutant orange! That's just pure disgusting. But yeah, I'd probably eat it too!
