Weekly Words Challenge 25!

The words for this week were Stone and Glass.

How did you interpret them?

Stone

Glass

(Random Pictures)

Do Not Feed The Zombie!

I brought Chewsocca to work yesterday and then didn't have the room in my tote to bring him home again. Not wanting to scare the cleaning people, I thought I'd attach a little note of warning to my friend. I came in this morning and Chewsocca was exactly where I'd left him. No sign of the cleaning lady though...

White Flowers

White Flowers (In Blue)

The words for next week are:
Paper
and
Ceramic

P.S. Next week we'll start a new theme.

If you haven't joined the fun, go
here for details. Happy Snapping!

I got some entries, but man, I like your take on stone and glass. And blue flowers!

I was staring at the second picture too! Can't tell if it's a hole in a wall or in the ground. It's a long ways down if it's in the ground!

Love the colors of the stained glass too.

Wow, mine look so literal now.
I love the mosaic.

So here's my first WWC!

LOL!

Lovely pictures! The stone cave is magnificent - of course, the zombie sock rules and the mosaic is stellar.

Wow girl, very cool. I love the choices you made for both. The mosaic is way cool. And I'm a sucker for stained glass.

Mine were so much more literal.

I love Chewsocca - but I'm wondering if you'll ever see that cleaning lady again...
The mosaic is lovely, as is the stained glass and that magnificent stone cave. I also love the white flowers done in blue - how did you get that effect? I've seen it done in sepia, to make a photo look old, but never blue. Is it a filter/layer in your comoputer program, an actual filter on your camera, or what?
Well, my pictures are up (I have a sort of poor man's stained glass going on...); I have my assignment for next week; so I'm off to see everybody else's stuff. Hope everyone is having a good week!

I'm with R.E.H, I think #2 looks like a cave - with some kind of statue in it. That's probably not what it is - but that's what it looks like. I love your photos, as always. #1 in my favorite though - how cool.

lol... I'm not sure the people at my office would get the sock zombie humor, but I'm still planning on hiding one under the covers on my husband's side of the bed.

I can think of a few people I work with who'd like a sock zombie to guard their desks against pen thieves. When word got around about the amputated fingers, their sticky-note pads would be safe forevermore.

Hey Tink - just thought of something else - what are the chances loyal readers will have of seeing one of your origami cups as part of your next WWC offering...PAPER and all...; )

Deja vu! Great pics, Tink...love the last stained glass, the angle makes it so dramatic. Sweet of you to leave a warning with your zombie...I'm sure he hid it, ate the cleaning lady, possibly flirted with her duster, then put everything back in place.

Sock zombies are good at keeping cleaners away from your desk when you don't want them snooping.

There were lots of stones, and then I added some "see glass!" Sometime tonight I have an AMAZING glass-related field trip I'll post. (I'm going back tomorrow with Thing One and Thing Two because they wanted to explore, so there may be even more after that...)

Cool pics, as always. I had a staied glass window like one of those go through my hand a few years ago....19 stitches spread over two fingers and permanent lumps on those fingers that are especially sensitive when it's cold out.. Good times.
