Weekly Words Challenge 25!
The words for this week were Stone and Glass.
How did you interpret them?
Stone
Glass
(Random Pictures)
Do Not Feed The Zombie!
I brought Chewsocca to work yesterday and then didn't have the room in my tote to bring him home again. Not wanting to scare the cleaning people, I thought I'd attach a little note of warning to my friend. I came in this morning and Chewsocca was exactly where I'd left him. No sign of the cleaning lady though...

White Flowers (In Blue)
The words for next week are:
Paper
and
Ceramic
P.S. Next week we'll start a new theme.
If you haven't joined the fun, go here for details. Happy Snapping!

Excellent photos as usual Tink. Funny sock zombie note. What is the second picture? Intriguing.
Mine are up.
I LOVE the sock zombie! I was wondering the same thing as g-man.
Mine are up too.

I got some entries, but man, I like your take on stone and glass. And blue flowers!
I was staring at the second picture too! Can't tell if it's a hole in a wall or in the ground. It's a long ways down if it's in the ground!
Love the colors of the stained glass too.
Wow, mine look so literal now.
I love the mosaic.
So here's my first WWC!

Lovely photos Tink. Love the stone tunnel(?) and the stained glass.
I actually tried my hand at it this time around.
love love love the mosaic. How beautiful!
am v. intrigued by the "new theme" for next week.
mine are up; enjoy!
No sign of the cleaning lady though...
LOL!
Lovely pictures! The stone cave is magnificent - of course, the zombie sock rules and the mosaic is stellar.
Wow girl, very cool. I love the choices you made for both. The mosaic is way cool. And I'm a sucker for stained glass.
Mine were so much more literal.
"No sign of the cleaning lady"
*snort*
I love Chewsocca - but I'm wondering if you'll ever see that cleaning lady again...
The mosaic is lovely, as is the stained glass and that magnificent stone cave. I also love the white flowers done in blue - how did you get that effect? I've seen it done in sepia, to make a photo look old, but never blue. Is it a filter/layer in your comoputer program, an actual filter on your camera, or what?
Well, my pictures are up (I have a sort of poor man's stained glass going on...); I have my assignment for next week; so I'm off to see everybody else's stuff. Hope everyone is having a good week!
I've always liked stained glass. Especially in churches.
~Jef
that sock zombie is cooler than fonzie
I'm with R.E.H, I think #2 looks like a cave - with some kind of statue in it. That's probably not what it is - but that's what it looks like. I love your photos, as always. #1 in my favorite though - how cool.
lol... I'm not sure the people at my office would get the sock zombie humor, but I'm still planning on hiding one under the covers on my husband's side of the bed.
I can think of a few people I work with who'd like a sock zombie to guard their desks against pen thieves. When word got around about the amputated fingers, their sticky-note pads would be safe forevermore.
Great WWC shots!! Love your stained glass! And the mosaic stone.
Your sock zombie is so scary it's cute!!
Mine are up!
Hey Tink - just thought of something else - what are the chances loyal readers will have of seeing one of your origami cups as part of your next WWC offering...PAPER and all...; )
Let us all have a moment of silence for the passing of the cleaning lady...
Gorgeous pictures, as usual!
I love all of your pictures. Especially the window. I was looking every where for stained glass windows this week, but I didn't have any luck.
This is what I did find.
Thanks again for the fun challenge
He ATE the cleaning lady? Bwaaahahaha
I love that mosaic
Fantastic photos!
I am in lust with your zombie sock. :)
Wow, nice mural! And I'm with the others, the cave entrance(?) is a cool shot.
Mine went up this morning, and for once I took myself out on assignment! What a great challenge. :)
Looking forward to some oragami pics next week. Cups??
Beautiful photos.. no surprise there. Wonderful stone images. I'm going to have to try this sometime. :)
Dood! Is #2 Jesus' tomb?! Heh heh.
I am actually going to post something for WWC this week, but I'm going to post it tomorrow morning. Or tonight if I feel like it. (And if the baby is still sleeping...) I did post a new photo of the little gaffer today as per your request though. :)
Ooooooo can you PLEASE make a chewsocca for me?
HOW MUCH!??!!
oooh! I stained glass! chewsocca is too cute! I finally got my WWC posted, check it out! :)
don't leave chewsocca out too many times. i might have to sneak over and take him home with me!
Deja vu! Great pics, Tink...love the last stained glass, the angle makes it so dramatic. Sweet of you to leave a warning with your zombie...I'm sure he hid it, ate the cleaning lady, possibly flirted with her duster, then put everything back in place.
Sock zombies are good at keeping cleaners away from your desk when you don't want them snooping.
Great pictures! I played!
There were lots of stones, and then I added some "see glass!" Sometime tonight I have an AMAZING glass-related field trip I'll post. (I'm going back tomorrow with Thing One and Thing Two because they wanted to explore, so there may be even more after that...)
Okay, that zombie sock thing is a tad strange.
Yes?
Ben O.
Lovely pics...except for Chewsocca...which makes me feel really skeevy.
I love the humor there, cool sock zombie... THe white flower ones are neat too! All great as usual.
Mine's up late, sorry :)
Awesome mosaic photo. And that etsy pick is fantabulous! I love it!
You're just the epitomy of excellence! Love the photos.
I am in serious want of a zombie sock myself. . . .
it's amazing how many photos you're able to take. very good stuff.
Hi cutie
I went private - please register and I will of course approve it.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
Very nice photos, Tink. Your photos are always amazing.
Mine would be how did I MISINTERPRET them.

I love your photos, especially the mosaic.
Gorgeous photos!!! And the sock zombie: perfect.
(I also loved your drunk blog entry. I think we'll have to do a drunk blogger challenge sometime)
Aw, now I want my own zombie sock!
Cool pics, as always. I had a staied glass window like one of those go through my hand a few years ago....19 stitches spread over two fingers and permanent lumps on those fingers that are especially sensitive when it's cold out.. Good times.
Your photos remind me of Georgia O'Keeffe...or maybe I'm just seeing girly-bits in everything now.
That mosaic rocks!
I wonder what's got the zombie sock so excited... ;)
*gasp*
Did you actually have to go in a church?
And your still here?!
Love the pics!!
*I don't know how I missed your pics Tuesday! I realized it last night!
Sheeze, I can only read so much before I have to hit scroll cuz' I wanna' talk myself! LOL!
The Sock Zombie with the note made me laugh out loud! Love that kinda laughter!!
Great pics too! Workin' on next week. I got a really good "paper" but the ceramic part still evades me!
Happy Thursday! Don't forget about the party at r.e.h.'s place tomorrow night!! [wink]
Okay here is mine :)
