I am not sure that spitballs are an effective extermination technique for cockroaches, but at least it is environmentally sound.

I'll tell ya what's good about your new stove. The burners on the top can no longer be turned on by a toddler. We had a stove like your old one and owned a few melted items due to having a toddler who liked to turn nobs.
