Aren't you just the little cutey? I had glasses just like those! I hated them. Thank god for contacts and growing out of awkward stages. :-)

Hi Tink!

Missed you guys while I've been away but now I'm back and hopefully will be able to get back on schedule. You were a cute little kid and I do just love those glasses....I think they are back in style or maybe it's just grandmas wearing them now! :)

HA HA HA HA Love these! Ah, nostalgia!

Yesterday (uh, I think) I got an email from blogger that comments were undeliverable. WTF? I dont even know what that means but it said Pickled Beef. So glad the NEW blogger is without kinks. Other people commented. Hmph.

I think you had the tink twinkle of trouble even at an early age.

LOL - that first picture gave me a Sonny & Cher flashback! Glad to see I wasn't the only child who suffered through glasses horror.

I need to get out a picture of me with my first glasses on. That will make you feel better.

I think your dad is the alien.

Tink- I had those same glasses! What were we thinking?!

I love the coppery picture, it's beautiful.

Thank you again for the paint numbers - that was so sweet of you to look them up!

You look so much like your mom (all women hate it when folks say that, but your mom was beautiful when she was your age)!!

My eyeglasses have always been just a bit dorkier than everybody elses.

I didn't have glasses like that. Mine were much worse. And you sure can tell where you got your good looks. You can tell your mom I said so.

Your pics weren't funny till I read your comments, then I lost it! My husband thinks I'm an addicted idiot now. An addict was bad enough!!

(Your pics are actually very cute!)

Awww! As a kid with glasses, you were so much cuter than I was.

Oh the glasses... the only diff between mine and your is that mine were purple frames with pink tinted lenses. Can ya dig it?

I'm mesmerized by the coppery picture. Must know what it is! Tell us, won't you?

I started wearing glasses in 4th grade, which was 1984, which we all know was the HEIGHT of fashion.

Oh, the pictures I could post.

You are adorable, by the by...

Lily: Sorry about the trouble yesterday. I'll make sure to disarm the sporks next time.

Jay: At one point it was past my butt! Of course, my butt was a lot closer to my head back then.

Gray Mama: I'm so glad you and Buddy liked them! I'm still looking for the one of the eye patch.

Meno: He was, from the planet Moron. I hear a lot of men relocate from there. ;)

Fiwa: You're welcome! It really wasn't any trouble.

Peggy + Foo: I think my Mom is beautiful too. So I take that as a great compliment. Thank you!

Butterfly Girl: Come on. They're a little funny. In that first picture I look like I'm all eyeballs.

Eric: My Dad was totally a hippie. Probably still is.

Lefty: Uh, no. I think they "accidentally" broke one day.

What Is It? It's a hanging light at "The Loop Pizza Grill." I couldn't stop staring at it. The way the light reflects from within, I thought it looked like lava.
