You all...
...are better than therapy, chocolate, and booze combined.
Thank you for the well wishes. My day went considerably better after I got off of work. There's someone coming over to look at the house tomorrow, FINALLY. I made time to play with the camera. Hoop's feeling a little better. And I found the missing Coke can.
My world, as I know it, has been restored.
(More) Random Thoughts:
Start. I spent an hour this morning Googling earmuffs... for horses. I've come to the conclusion that they don't make them. Which is both sad, because my Mom needs them (for the horses, not herself) and exciting, because I'm going to become filthy rich when I invent them. My camera is still nameless. Let's hope I don't have the same problem after I birth kids. The most creative name I could come up with for my Canon was "Balls." As in "Cannonballs." Geesh, what do you take me for? Although now that I think of it, it might be a little odd saying, "I'm off to play with my Balls now." Or "Here, hold my Balls for a moment." No? Ok... Back to the drawing board. End.

The words for this weekend are...
Gift
Giver
Hop on the bandwagon. You know you want to.
How does your garden grow?
Ships in the bay.
The Fort at dusk.
Hoop: Moats had STAIRS?
Fishy Fountain
Rocky Shore
All but the first picture were taken at dusk or night.
Daily Hoop Conversation:
Hoop: Catch! *Tosses blueberry up in air*
Tink: Were you aiming for my mouth?
Hoop: Let me try that again. *Throws and misses*
Tink: What a waste of good fruit.
Hoop: Let me try again. *Throws and misses*
Tink: Weren't you a baseball player?!
Hoop: Yeah and I threw BASEBALLS, not blueberries.
Have a wonderful weekend!

"I threw baseballs not blueberries" excuses excuses ;)
Like the pics, you take awesome ones!! I'm jealous of your new *nameless* camera.
Hope your weekend rocks! GL on the house showing!!
I love the pics!
Yeah, there's a big difference between baseballs and blueberries. LOL!
Good luck with the house showing!!
Hoop throws and misses 3 times? Nice try noodle arm.
Great pics. I can see you have going to have a great time with that new camera.
I'm really glad you found the missing coke can. Poor little can out there all alone in the big bad world like that. Must have been very traumatic.
Tink, I think by now you know how much I enjoy your site. Having said that, I would be really worried if you ever logged off to go play with your Balls.
But I'd still be your friend.
Having said that, my family and most of our friends are familiar with bean bags. I mean, who doesn't like a good bean bag? Right?
Well, around Christmas time, I picked up a nice sized Love Sac brand that uses memory foam vs. beans(?).
Imagine the looks on some faces when they hear my son talking about laying on his daddy's Love Sac. The worse part is when certain parents drop their kids off for a play date only to have my son grab them to come jump on my Love Sac.
Anyway, I too played baseball and suck at catching fruit that way. Then again, I also don't throw balls at plates when we go to the amusement park. It's better to look like I'm cool than to convince everyone otherwise.
Great photos already!! Good point about the stairs in the moat - wouldn't that make it too easy to get out of?!
Still giggling about the blueberries...
Thank god he's not throwing basketballs at your head, although he'd probably have a better hit ratio.
Why in the HE double toothpick does she nead earmuffs for a horse?!?!?!?
And you've gotta admit hitting someone in the piehole with a blueberry is a bit different than throwing a baseball.
Mary + MamaT: Thank you! Believe it or not this will be the first looker in a month. I don't even care if they buy. I just want to show off my nice clean house lol.
Jay: I thought I was going to have to throw a bodyless funeral for it. But after 2 minutes of careful searching, I found it! ;)
Mike Y: Love Sac! LMAO. THAT is truly priceless. Mine is just disturbing.
Chris: If it were MY moat, there wouldn't be any stairs. Otherwise the alligators might get out.
TB: Shhh. Let's not give him any ideas!
Oddmix: Here's the scoop. They built the paddock right next to an "unused" park feild. Well... They've decided to start using it. Imagine two hundred people, colorful outfits, kids running and screaming, whistles blowing, and cheerleaders doing flips 10 feet from where the horses are. They're going nuts. My suggestion is blinders and earmuffs. :)
Field not feild. I really need a spellcheck on this thing.
Great pictures Tink. Earmuffs for horses **grins** I just love the image.....
As for camera name:
Habhab: hebrew for gift
Makana: hawaiian for gift
BahumAna: sanskrit for rich gift
Daiva: sanskrit for gift from the gods
Teyet: egyptian for picture
Forgive any translational errors here, I relyed on the internet for the words. And yes, the fact that I just did this does mean that I have too much time on my hands.
Glad today was better :-)
Nice shots!
You could call your camera by a name that means "gift" like the African name CHIPO.
How about cammie the Camera? Okay too cheesey.
Giggling about the blueberries. Silly men!
Instead of "balls", how 'bout "marbles" as in, you've lost yours? ;o)
Awesome pics!
Blueberries. Hehehe!
You're so creative, I can't take it!
Ummmm...I actually think "Balls" is brilliant. I laughed my head off. "I just got a great shot with my Balls." "It's a beautiful day! I've gotta grab my Balls and run outside!"
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the photo you took of the Fort at dusk. It has great composition, but it is also simply GORGOUES. Gorgeous, even. Oi, it's late.
Beautiful, beautiful photos!
I don't think it ever occurred to me to name my camera. I can't even think of a name for my '97 Civic, and pretty much everyone names cars.
If I were going to name a camera, I think I'd have to name it "Click!"
'Cause I shutter to think what would happen around our house if I yelled "Honey, would you grab my Balls?" as we were on the way out of the house.
Cool photos. The fort is really cool. I like how the turret think is just kind of hanging out there.
Horse ear muffs -- I know they make ear plugs for horses. My wife has a few pairs. I'll see if I can find out where she got them.
Tink -- Here's a link to the ear plugs my wife uses on her horse when she takes him to shows. They fit down in the horses ears.
